Tanjung Balai Group develops industrial parks, business parks and communities across the Klang Valley — backed by four decades of construction, earthworks and quarrying.
From clay bricks and earthworks to a strategic land bank across the Klang Valley.
Founded in 1978, Tanjung Balai Group began in construction materials trading, transportation, earthwork and road works — expanding into clay brick manufacturing in the mid-1980s with plants in Puchong, Rawang and Batang Berjuntai.
Through the late-1990s financial crisis, the group delivered the Taming Permai Business Park shop-office development ahead of schedule, and was invited as a consortium partner in the Seremban 3 and Kota Kemuning developments. In 2005, it undertook one of the country's largest resettlement projects in Ampang, transforming the site into the planned Ampang Saujana housing estate.
Today the group holds a substantial strategic land bank in locations including Bangsar, Cheras, Syed Putra, Port Klang, Rawang, Puchong and Kota Kemuning — the majority zoned Category B by the Department of Environment, suitable for industrial development.
